The first ride

So today I went on my first ride of the season. Wow, I am out of shape! I went 5 miles in 25 min! I've gotten fat. I bought this bike the year that I got home from my mission, in '03. It is a LookKG76, and when I tried to find a pic on google, nothing, my best guess is this is a 1991 model. I bought it for $325 with down tube shifters. My props to anyone who can still ride with those effectively. I upgraded to Shimano 105's, I've had a few saddles, right now I have a SelleItilia Flite, very nice for me. I'm riding on Hutchinson tires wrapped around my Mavic wheels. I really like this bike. I wouldn't mind an upgrade, and Jenn says that I can get one, but right now, this is great; one day I will drop a grand for a new one. But back to my ride. I went up 900 S. to Foothill over to 1300 S. and up to the golf course. Up behind the zoo, and then home down 900 S. That was almost 5 miles dead on, and that took me 25 minutes, wow. I look forward to this season, I intend to get back into shape, and get my back, legs, and body back to where it has been in years past. I love biking! I really do. When I got up to Larkin tonight, my quads were screaming at me, I knew that I had to cut my original ride down so that I could walk tomorrow. I stopped for a drink, and to clear my throat, and then got back in the saddle and didn't stop until I got home. Just like that I got my first fix of the season, and I want to hit the road every day! Jenn was so kind. I had told her that if I got home in time I would go for a ride. She put pressure in my tires, and got my clothes out for me and said hurry your losing sun light almost the moment I got home! How did I get such a wonderful wife? She is too good to me. Wow, I love biking! I love Jennifer, I love biking with Jennifer. I love biking.

Cleo's Post

Hello, my name if Cloe, short for Cleocatra. Jennifer thought it was cute when she was 15. So I thought that I would put in my two cents about this whole moving thing. RT & Jenn have filled my house with boxes, and left me no choice but to sleep on their pillows, I did that before, but now I have an excuse. I all sorts of freaked out, they have forgotten to feed me for almost the entire day, I have so many more boxes to mark, I don't like it! Just when I get comfortable, they go and throw my world upside down!

So in order to calm my nerves they bought me this 4 inch memory foam mattress topper. At first I didn't like it because I knew it was there only to take my mind off the move, but once I got comfortable, I didn't move for almost the entire day. Yeah, they again bought my love, and I won't puke on the floor, right where RT walks in the morning. Not until we get to the new house anyway.

Hide and seek?

What do these two images have in common?
I'll tell you: The one on the left is the one that we are moving out of, and the one on the right is the one that we are moving into! March 1 is our moving date!!!!! We're buying a house! SWEET! We're buying a house! 3 bed room, two bath rooms, fenced yard, garage, a fire place in the master bed room! We're going to have room for our dinner table that is now in a box in Jenn's parents garage! WOW! Yehaw! Sweeeeeeeet! Can you tell I'm excited?

This is what happens when you forget your lunch and have to buy a vending machine microwave popcorn bag.
Because no one emptied the garbage can for 2 days, the break room at work smelled of burnt popcorn for 3 days! But don't worry, I was lucky, someone had brought doughnuts to work, so I didn't go without.
This was for 3.0 min. in our break room microwave. At home, that is almost perfect; what kind of nuclear reactor do we have in our break room?

First timer

We are new to the blogging scene, so be kind as you peruse our web lives.

Have you ever noticed that when your at work, or on a long bike ride climbing a mountain you can think of hundreds of things to say to the world, but when you get the chance, your mind and your excitment seem to fade at the vast openness of others minds and oppinions. To suddenly be hit with the understanding that someone, perhaps that you have never and will never meet might read, how are you supposed to impress anyone from thier monitor? How can I, a simple college student, and newly wed, soon to be home owner, going to say or show anything that is going to "wow" anyone, or thing?

I have decided that there is no way to achieve this desired goal. There is no way that I can expect to "wow" anyone. The purpose of the blogging world is not to "wow" anyone or thing, that is saved for places like myspace, and facebook. This is a bigger and better world, and I am willing to take being over looked by the www.world, but for whom ever gets the chance to stumble onto this page; Welcome... to our online life, be it ever so simple and average, we are in love, and we are happy. Join if you'd like, and if not, say nothing that would let others see your dirty finger print on our little happy smiles.
